Sunbelt Christian School Ropes Course

The Ropes course offers nine low elements which can be used for numerous challenges.  These activities build problem solving skills, teamwork, conflict resolution, and other life skills into the lives of our children.  In the photo above, the platform inside the ropes is called the TEAM TRIANGLE.  Participants stand on the platform in the middle and have to help one another around the cables that span the three trees around it.  In the background, you can see THE WALL.  This element helps to teach that some problems you just have to face up to and overcome them.

TRUST FALL PLATFORM

One member of the group climbs onto the platform, and stands at the very edge, facing the tree.

They then fall backwards, depending upon their team members below to catch them.

This activity takes a lot of trust in your team, and develops a spirit of teamwork.

It may sound simple, all you have to do is walk the beam

What happens in life when you fall down?  You get back up!  As you look at the picture above, you'll notice that the walking beam is not more than 6 to 8 inches about the ground, but it teaches our children that you must approach life with balance in mind, knowing that you CAN get back up and try again to overcome the problem that is facing you.
